The Ben Jones Scholarship is available to any juniors and seniors actively creating work that focuses on issues of social consciousness. The applicant’s body of work should focus on specific themes of political activism, social justice, environmental concerns, or public health.

  This scholarship is only available to students declared as Art Teacher Certification Candidates.
  
  Students who have taken and passed the PRAXIS CORE exams (Math Test # 5732, Reading Test # 5712, Writing Test #5722) may apply.
  
  Applicants who have taken and passed the Praxis subject exam ART CONTENT KNOWLEDGE will be given extra consideration.
  
  Applicants to this scholarship should be entering the final year of the certification program.

This application is for entering freshman or transfer students to submit a portfolio for the NJCU BFA Program and indicate their interest in an area of concentration. All applications submitted will also be considered for a Talent Award.
